Opportunity for input on BLM Lands

In this article, we discuss a rare opportunity to provide comments to the Bureau of Land Management by participating in their survey

Many full-time RVers (and some who aren’t full-timers) belong to the “Escapees” organization, which has been around for more than 40 years. They provide a wide array of services for full-timers, and they work on behalf of all RVers, full-timers and others, in a variety of ways.

The Escapees (or SKP’s, as members often abbreviate it) have recently published the following on their facebook page and also emailed it to their members. So that as many RVers as possible will participate in this survey, they’ve graciously allowed us to share it here.

In conjunction with the RV Industry Association (RVIA) and the Bureau of Land Management, Escapees is seeking input from RVers regarding use and access to BLM lands across the western United States.

As many RVers know, there is a lot of public land out west managed by the BLM. What you may not know is that not all of that land is accessible for the public, especially not for RVers.

Please help out by taking the survey linked below. You will be asked a series of questions related to how you currently use BLM lands and what you would like to see in the future.

The goal of this survey is to provide the Bureau of Land Management with information regarding improved access to our public lands.

We appreciate your participation and encourage you to share it with all your camping and RVing friends!

If you have any interest in boondocking on BLM land, either now or in the future, we hope you’ll click on the link above and take the survey. We don’t know how long the survey link will be available, nor when they’ll cut off responses, so please do it now rather than later.

Thanks for letting us know, Mary. When we posted this, the article where we found it didn’t list a cut-off date.
